Riverleigh is set in attractive landscaped surroundings close to the City centre, making it readily accessible for residents' family and friends.
The interior design and furnishings of the building have been purpose-built and designed for our residents' comfort and enjoyment. We have three communal lounges that are very homely and provide the opportunity for residents to enjoy the company of others. The courtyard and gardens are easily accessible from the lounges, giving all our residents the ability to enjoy the outdoors.
Riverleigh is a 57-bed facility which caters for both rest home and hospital level residents. We can offer you a choice from:
* Rest home care
* Continuing (hospital) level care
* Respite care
* Palliative care
* Day care
* Care for young people with disabilities
Riverleigh has 33 rest home beds and 24 hospital beds, and each resident has an individual room. The rooms are light and spacious with ample room for your favourite armchair, and we encourage you to make it homely by bringing along your favourite ornaments and your own pictures to hang on the walls. We want you to feel at home.
Riverleigh is Certified by the Ministry of Health to provide age related residential care services under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2004. Specifically this relates to medical and geriatric services and is valid for renewal in late 2010.
