Papatoetoe Residential Care is situated in a quiet street just minutes from the local shopping centre, and is easily accessible for family and friends who come to visit.
Our Papatoetoe branch is well-known in the local area as being a fun and homely facility, with a strong focus on craft and activities.
The building, interior design and furnishings have been designed and purpose-built for our residents' comfort and enjoyment. We have two communal lounges that are very homely and provide the opportunity for residents to enjoy the company of others. These open out to sunny decks and gardens, which are a delight to our residents.
Papatoetoe is a 30 bed facility which caters for hospital level residents. We can offer you a choice from:
* Continuing (hospital) level care
* Respite care
* Palliative care
* Care for young people with disabilities
The majority of residents have an individual room, and a small number of shared rooms provide the opportunity for those who enjoy a more social environment. The rooms are light and spacious with ample room for your favourite armchair, and we encourage you to make it homely by bringing along your favourite ornaments and your own pictures to hang on the walls. We want you to feel at home.
Papatoetoe is Certified by the Ministry of Health to provide age related residential care services under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2004. Specifically this relates to medical and geriatric services, and is valid for renewal in late 2010.
