Our volunteers make a huge difference to our residents. Having a team of helpers with special skills helps us provide high quality activities to our residents, and we invite you to come see what difference you can make with our residents.
Volunteers often make a huge positive difference in their own lives through helping others. Volunteering is a great way of adding meaning and value to our every day lives, by giving up our time to work towards a higher purpose. The higher purpose in this case is to provide positive end of life experiences for a group of people who have already given so much to society.
There are around 1.4 million New Zealanders who volunteer, and as our population grow older, we will need more and more of these volunteers in the Aged Care industry to help provide great care.
Our valued team of volunteers assist us in playing music, reading, and helping with our activities programs, among others. Taking residents out to events is always made easier by a team of helpers, and allows us to add greater variety to the lives of our residents.
By volunteering, you will positively influence the quality of life of our residents, and increase the happiness in someone’s life.
