Jervois Residential Care
Jervois is conveniently situated in the inner-city suburb of Herne Bay. The original villas have undergone major redevelopment and are now customised to be a care facility, while retaining all the grandeur of yesteryear.
The interior design and furnishings have been designed for our residents' comfort and enjoyment. We have communal lounges that are very homely and provide the opportunity for residents to enjoy the company of others. Our park-like grounds are easily accessible, giving all our residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
Jervois is a 46-bed facility which caters for both rest home and hospital level residents. We can offer you a choice from:
- Rest home care
- Continuing (hospital) level care
- Palliative care
Jervois has 16 rest home beds and 30 hospital beds, in either single or double rooms. The rooms are light and spacious with ample room for your favourite armchair, and we encourage you to make it homely by bringing along your favourite ornaments and your own pictures to hang on the walls. We want you to feel at home.
Jervois is Certified by the Ministry of Health to provide age related residential care services under the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2004. Specifically this relates to medical and geriatric services, and is valid for renewal in late 2010.
